PAX Unplugged FAILURE!

PAX Unplugged FAILURE!

PAX Unplugged FAILURE!

I went to Philadelphia this weekend to push myself into some self learning with video recording and interviewing. I’m not great at either and the only real way I learn is by doing. But reality check: I didn’t get to record like I thought I would. PAX was packed (see cover photo) and I most definitely didn’t think it though enough about how busy each booth would be.

I am looking forward to seeing the estimated attendance numbers because this year seemed much busier then the previous years.

I did manage to help my friends at Top Deck Games capture a pretty cool 360 time-lapse of their booth for Friday and Saturday, so at least one win came out of the trip. But overall, I missed the mark on the marketing materials I hoped to create and will need to figure out another way to try the interview approach I wanted to try and capture.

I also went to the GAMA meet-up on Saturday evening with low expectations. I’d never been to a GAMA networking event at PAX Unplugged before, so I wasn’t sure what it would be like. It ended up being great and definitely exceeded what I expected. I’m looking forward to attending more GAMA events outside of the main GAMA Expo, see you all soon in Kentucky!

Now that PAX Unplugged is over, my focus is on follow-up. Time to go through the business cards I collected and follow up with everything. I am also working on our Mantle timeline for the end of 2025 while preparing the Mantle goals for Q1 2026.
